The Samaritan Medical Center is seeking a Manager of Perioperative Operations to lead and optimize workflows across Pre-Admission Testing, Pre-Op, OR, and PACU. You will partner with nursing leadership, anesthesia, and surgical teams to improve first-case on-time starts, throughput, and daily operational efficiency.

In addition to operational leadership, you will serve as Laser Safety Officer, manage performance data, and drive standardization of processes across departments.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Current NYS RN license required.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• 3–5 years perioperative nursing experience required.

• Monitor and support daily surgical flow across perioperative areas.
• Identify barriers impacting case progression and throughput.
• Coordinate with departments to align with the surgical schedule.
• Lead throughput improvement initiatives and standardize processes.
• Serve as Laser Safety Officer and ensure laser safety standards.
