Job summary

Tennova Healthcare- North Knoxville Medical Center is seeking a Surgical Services Lead to coordinate and oversee perioperative care, including preadmission, intraoperative, post-anesthesia care, and related services. You will ensure safe delivery, manage operations, and drive performance improvements across the department.

Ideal candidates will have RN licensure, BCLS/ACLS/PALS, and progressive perioperative leadership experience, with a commitment to regulatory compliance and patient-centered

Qualifications

• RN with state licensure and BCLS/ACLS/PALS credentials.
• Progressive perioperative or surgical services experience.
• Healthcare management experience with increasing responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the surgical services department and align with mission and values.
• Ensure availability of personnel, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
• Evaluate perioperative practices and drive improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and supervise perioperative staff and promote accountability.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on performance initiatives.
• Analyze quality data to inform decisions and promote best practices.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
