Job summary

Tennova Turkey Creek Medical Center is seeking a Surgical Services Lead to coordinate and oversee perioperative care across preadmission, intraoperative, and post-anesthesia services. Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive perioperative or surgical services experience.
• 2-4 years of progressive healthcare management experience with increasing responsibility.
• RN licensure required in state of practice.
• BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• CNOR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads the daily operations of the surgical services department, ensuring alignment with organizational mission, vision, and values.
• Oversees the delivery of perioperative care, ensuring availability of personnel, equipment, and supplies to meet patient and procedural needs.
• Assists in evaluating perioperative practices, identifies improvement opportunities, and implements strategies to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
• Provides guidance, support, and mentorship to surgical services personnel.
• Collaborates with perioperative management to develop and implement performance improvement initiatives.
• Analyzes quality data to inform decision-making and promote best practices.
