Job summary

MyMichigan Health is seeking a Manager RN to lead the Surgical Department, planning, organizing and directing operations and staff to deliver high quality patient care. This role requires oversight of OR, PACU and pain procedures, and alignment with nursing leadership and service policies.

You will supervise staffing, schedules, budgeting and compliance with regulatory standards, participate on committees, and drive performance improvement using evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
• Proven leadership experience in a hospital setting.
• Strong knowledge of perioperative care standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Operating Room, PACU, Ambulatory Surgery and pain procedures.
• Supervise care of patients in preoperative, perioperative, and postoperative phases.
• Participate on Nursing Management and Infection Control committees.
• Schedule surgeries and manage staff assignments across OR and pain procedures.
• Provide monthly statistics and participate in PI activities.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
