Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess current Michigan RN license.
• Must have OR experience.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school of nursing (BSN) or Bachelor of Science (BS).
• Master Degree in Nursing or related field.

Responsibilities

• 24-hour accountability for management of assigned patient care unit(s)/function(s).
• Establish standards of performance, quality improvement and care delivery model.
• Coordinate scheduling, staffing patterns and productivity benchmarks.
• Develop, interpret, administer and communicate department policies, procedures and regulations.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and address patient satisfaction.
• Promote professional development of staff and mentor team members.
