Job summary

Qualifications

• Current license as a registered nurse.
• BSN or actively pursuing BSN (enrolled in a program).
• Minimum 2 years RN perioperative experience; management experience preferred.
• CNOR or alternative certification preferred.
• BLS within 6 weeks of hire; ACLS and PALS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and review policies and procedures guiding patient care.
• Provide front-line leadership and supervision of nursing staff.
• Coordinate staffing plans based on acuity, volumes and budget.
• Participate in budget development, monitoring and performance improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety, Joint Commission and regulatory standards.
