Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree required in nursing; Master’s degree required within five years of hire.
• Current Iowa RN license.
• 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience; supervisory experience required.
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Certification in specialty practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee perioperative services as Nurse Leader; manage staff, processes and programs.
• Promote patient safety, evidence-based practice and regulatory readiness.
• Lead change, mentor staff and plan for succession within a magnet-designated environment.
