University of California- Davis Health seeks a Clinical Nurse Educator 3 for its Perioperative Services team at the Same Day Surgery Center. The educator designs and delivers education, orients staff, and develops competency programs to advance perioperative nursing practice.

The role leverages Epic Op-Time and MS Office to create instructional content, supports staff through research and training projects, and collaborates with nursing leadership to improve patient care outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Valid California Registered Nurse License without restriction.
• CNOR Certification upon hire.
• AHA or Red Cross BLS, or UC Davis Health CPR.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum six (6) years of Operating Room Nurse experience.
• Circulate a wide variety of complex surgical procedures at a Level 1 or 2 Trauma Center.
• Three (3) years’ experience as a Scrub Nurse.
• Three (3) years’ experience as a preceptor or nurse educator.
• Ability to utilize medical and surgical terminology appropriately.
• Broad knowledge of professional nursing practices.
• Accountability and professionalism.
• Adaptability to change in a positive manner.
• Knowledge of legal implications in clinical practice and documentation.
• Basic computer skills including EMR.
• Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
