The Perioperative Educator will support Surgical Services across 11 operating roomsat the medical center and five operating rooms at an outpatient surgery location, including Operating Room, Perioperative Services, and PACU education. Reporting to perioperative nursing leadership, the Surgical Services Educator will assess learning needs, coordinate orientation and competency validation, deliver continuing education, reinforce regulatory readiness, and promote evidence-based clinical practice. The educator will receive support from engaged leaders while partnering with friendly nurses and a diverse team of surgeons, anesthesia professionals, technicians, and other healthcare specialists to enhance safety, quality, and staff development throughout perioperative and PACU services.
