Job summary

Responsibilities

• Scrubs and circulates on cases as assigned.
• Prepares for surgical cases and anticipates needs.
• Maintains knowledge of equipment set-up and function.
• Initiates and directs room turnover.
• Educates patients and families throughout perioperative care.
• Maintains aseptic technique and a safe environment.
• Leads department huddles and coordinates schedules.
• Coordinates with management on supply/budget issues.
