Job summary

Qualifications

• Possession of a current or compact state license as a Registered Nurse.
• Operating Room experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support certified within six weeks of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training completed within three months of hire.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs and circulates on cases independently with minimal direction.
• Prepares for surgical cases and maintains aseptic technique.
• Ensures safe environment and effective communication with the OR team.
• Documents surgical data and dispositions, participates in turnover.
• Participates in orientation and training of new personnel.
