Job summary

This role supports inventory management, par level maintenance, order processing, and collaboration with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and adherence to safety standards. It is based at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence with a day shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and aseptic techniques preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of learning systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintains quality assurance and practice standards per policies.
• Counts, organizes, orders, delivers, picks, packs, and inspects equipment and supplies.
• Maintains stock in assigned areas in a clean, orderly manner with proper labeling.
• Orders approved supplies and maintains inventory par levels; expedites as needed.
• Adjusts par levels based on usage and just‑in‑time principles.
• Coordinates with vendors and departments regarding supply status.
• Participates in annual supply inventory and audits.
