Brown University Health is seeking a Supply Chain Supervisor to coordinate activities across the Supply Chain Procedural, Distribution, and Central Supply teams. You will train staff, manage inventory, and help implement procedures while ensuring compliance with established standards of practice.

SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of Brown University Health Supply Chain Logistics Managers, Supply Chain Logistics Lead coordinates activities and functions of the Supply Chain Procedural, Distribution and Central Supply Technicians throughout Brown University Health. Orients, trains, assigns work, maintains work schedules,and evaluates performance of staff in keeping with established policies, procedures, and standards of practice in their respective areas of responsibility. Participates in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, process improvements and budgets for the assigned Supply Chain area. WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Sits, stands, and walks intermittently throughout the day. Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push and/or pull moderately heavy supplies, materials, and equipment. Some exposure to the outside elements possible and some heat and cold discomfort. Exposure to contaminated items, strong detergents, and antiseptic solutions. Any potential hazard is minimized by adherence to safety procedures and the use of protective clothing and equipment as directed by department.
