Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System in New York is seeking a Per Diem Perioperative Technical Coordinator responsible for procurement of equipment and clinical supplies for the OR. You will maintain and order supplies, coordinate maintenance, and ensure proper equipment operation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma (Associates degree preferred).
• 2 years in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the yearly preventive maintenance programs for medical equipment with Clinical Engineering.
• Coordinates the exchange of equipment for newly inspected items per policies and the PEP program.
• Coordinates repair of equipment by tagging and moving it to designated areas.
• Tests all medical equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Assists the Managers with training and skills assessment.
• Performs minor technical repairs and reports issues to the appropriate department.
