Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; knowledge of aseptic technique required.
• CNA certification preferred; department-specific training for OR Equipment Technicians required.

Responsibilities

• Assists nursing staff with pre-operative preparations; prepares instruments, carts, supplies and equipment.
• Ensures aseptic technique and patient safety; maintains cleanliness of patient rooms and equipment.
• Transports and assists with patient turnover and hand-offs between shifts.
• Provides technical support on minimally invasive equipment and instrumentation; reports equipment issues.

Education
