Qualifications

• CPAN, ABPANC certifications required within specified timelines.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Identify staff learning needs using diverse data sources.
• Address learning barriers and learner attitudes in program design.
• Develop objective, measurable competencies and learner-focused education.
• Utilize current best-practice references and evidence-based teaching.
• Evaluate educational offerings and plan future initiatives based on data.
• Coordinate orientation and ensure competency module completion for new staff.
• Document staff competence/performance records per criteria.
