Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Current Massachusetts RN license and active practice.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required or documented.
• 2-3 years clinical nursing in Pre-Op/PACU or perioperative services.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and enhancement of orientation, education, and competency programs.
• Create curricula, simulations, and learning experiences aligned with standards.
• Host educational sessions and continuing education opportunities.
• Assess and validate clinical competencies to ensure safe patient care.
• Mentor new staff, students, and on-boarding participants.
• Partner with leadership to address performance improvement via education.
• Track educational records, certifications, and learner outcomes for compliance.
