Job summary

Yale New Haven Health is seeking a Perioperative Support Associate to perform terminal cleaning of surgical rooms, stocking supplies in OR and scrub areas, and general cleaning in accordance with hospital standards.

The role requires physical stamina, adherence to safety protocols, and a focus on patient-centered service in a fast-paced perioperative setting. Prior healthcare service experience is preferred and a department training program is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2–3 years in a service-oriented healthcare environment preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning assigned areas following schedules and using prescribed methods.
• Demonstrates proper use of protective devices such as gloves, gowns, safety goggles, floor signs.
