Job summary

Required are completion of an accredited surgical tech program (or equivalent OR experience) and current BLS certification; AST certification within one year of hire is preferred. The position supports high-quality patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• AST certification or certification eligible within one year.
• Completion of an accredited surgical tech program or previous OR experience.
• BLS Current certification is required. AST Certification w/in one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Competence in Patient Care, adhering to DNV/ISO standards.
• Attend in-service training to maintain competency in OR specialty.
• Foster employee collaboration and teamwork, valuing contributions.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Utilize resources responsibly, report to work on time and follow attendance policies.
• Demonstrate professionalism and respect for all customers, upholding patient-family-centered care.
• Log into ORM to print case cards for upcoming cases and be on call as needed.
