Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current registered nurse licensure in state of employment.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• CNOR certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Promotes the mission, vision, and values of the facility or health care organization.
• Assesses patients at intervals as stated in policies and procedures.
• Develops an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Protecting the patient from injury from multiple sources and extraneous objects.
• Ensure correct site, side, and level of procedure; manage specimens.
• Communicate patient status to the continuum of care; administer medications safely.
