Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to provide comprehensive perioperative care before, during, and after surgery. You will support surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities include circulating in the OR, preparing patients, maintaining sterile technique, monitoring equipment, and documenting care while collaborating with the team to promote high-quality perioperative

Qualifications

• Active RN license in state of practice
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• 1 year OR nursing experience preferred
• CNOR and PALS certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing care for surgical patients.
• Circulate during surgical procedures while maintaining a safe and sterile operating room environment.
• Prepare patients for surgery, including assessment, positioning, and verification of surgical documentation.
• Assist surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team during operative procedures.
• Ensure compliance with aseptic technique, infection prevention, and patient safety standards.
• Operate and monitor surgical equipment and ensure necessary instruments and supplies are available.
• Safely handle and dispose of biohazardous materials according to organizational policies.
• Document patient care, surgical procedures, and required clinical information accurately.
• Monitor patient status throughout the perioperative process and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to promote optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement, inventory management, and operating room readiness activities.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
