Job summary

Physician Partners of America is seeking an Experienced OR Registered Nurse to provide perioperative care in a Plano, TX surgery center. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care while collaborating with the surgical team and supervising staff. The role emphasizes patient safety, documentation, and adherence to center policies.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and demonstrates aseptic technique with OR experience. CNOR is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Active State Registered Nursing License required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• IV Sedation course completion and certification preferred.
• Exceptional knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques.
• Proven experience as operating room nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the perioperative process from pre-op to post-op.
• Maintain sterile field and assist with equipment and supplies.
• Document patient records accurately and communicate with the surgical team.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Support with Pre-Op calls and medication history documentation.
• CNOR preferred but not required.
