Job summary

Rocky Mountain Endoscopy is seeking a Charge RN for Peri-Op to oversee nursing care in the endoscopy center, ensuring compliance with state standards and center policies. This full-time role requires leadership, 2 years in surgery management including pre-/in-/post-op care with joint/spine experience, and current CA RN license with BLS/ACLS.

You will communicate with the medical team and help maintain equipment, supplies, and cleanliness, while participating in quality improvement and committee

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Two (2) years experience in surgery management that must include pre-op, intra-op, post-op care with total joint and spine experience.
• Licenses/Certifications/ Registrations.
• Current CA RN License.
• BLS & ACLS Certification required.
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities.
• Independent decision making skills.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills with staff and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care within state standards of practice and the policies of the Endoscopy Center.
• Makes decisions regarding direct patient care needs and communicates appropriate information to other team members.
• Helps maintain equipment, supplies, and cleanliness of unit as a whole.
• May have additional responsibilities as designed by the Clinical Director/Administrator, which include, but are not limited to, providing patient care, serving on committees, participating in quality improvement audits, and projects.
