Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Charge Nurse RN to oversee day-to-day operations of a surgical center. The role includes scheduling procedures and staff, inventory control, HR tasks, staff credentialing, risk management, and QA.

You will collaborate with administration to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate holds an accredited nursing degree, an active RN license, and BCLS; ACLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current State RN license.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification preferred or basic EKG/arrhythmia identification certification.
• ASPAN membership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preceptor for front office operations.
• Monitor day-to-day internal flow and staffing.
• Backup Circulator, Pre-op, PACU responsibilities.
• Maintain adherence to policy and procedure manuals.
• Perform IV insertions and assist with procedures.
• Hold weekly meetings with administration/managers.
• Coordinate and manage QA/compliance programs and inspections.
• Oversee equipment and supply ordering; keep preference cards updated.
• Manage and file employee health records; conduct staff meetings.
• Support marketing efforts and physician office communications.
