Virtua is seeking a dedicated healthcare aide to provide basic care services, transport patients, specimens, and equipment, and assist with room cleaning and supply delivery. This role supports the Product Coordinator and perioperative area operations in a busy hospital setting.

Responsibilities include prioritizing OR turnover cleaning, assisting in patient transfers, setting up cases, handling specimens, and stocking supplies.

Qualifications

• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes OR turnover cleaning and perioperative area upkeep per procedures.
• Assists with transferring, transporting and positioning patients using proper body mechanics.
• Assists in OR setup and post-case cleanup; moves essential equipment as needed.
• Handles and transports specimens according to policies.
• Stocks shelves and supports warehouse supply organization daily.
