Virtua Medical Group in New Jersey is seeking a part-time, on-site Per Diem Patient Care Associate to provide basic care services, transport patients and specimens, and assist in OR turnover. Responsibilities include room turnover, positioning patients, and stocking supplies across perioperative areas.

This role requires a High School diploma or GED, and BLS certification; prior patient care experience is preferred. On-call per department needs and a competitive hourly pay rate apply.

Qualifications

• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes OR suite cleaning and perioperative area turnover.
• Transports and positions patients using proper body mechanics.
• Assists in OR set-up and post-case equipment handling.
• Handles specimens and transports them per policy.
• Stocks shelves, linen, and fluids; aids warehouse with supplies.
