Job summary

Virtua Health in Camden, NJ is seeking a patient care support role to provide transport for patients, specimens, and equipment, assist with room cleaning and linen management, and support the perioperative area. This role requires a High School diploma or GED and BLS certification; prior patient care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes OR turnover cleaning and maintains perioperative area cleanliness.
• Transports and positions patients using proper body mechanics.
• Assists with OR setup and moves essential equipment into the room.
• Transports specimens and handles them per policy.
• Stocks shelves, linen and fluids, and assists in warehouse supply organization daily.
