Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Two years of recent clinical nursing experience.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Support the Nurse Manager with supervising and supporting RNs and other nursing caregivers.
• Supervise admissions, assess patient needs, and initiate care plans.
• Evaluate and document patient progress.
• Facilitate planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing programs and objectives.
• Prepare schedules to assure adequate coverage and participate in quality improvement projects.
