About This Role

The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at Hillcrest Hospital will manage daily clinical operations, support nursing staff, and enhance patient care through improvement initiatives. This role is ideal for experienced nurses looking to develop leadership skills and prepare for future management positions.

What You'll Do

• Manage daily clinical operations of the PCU.
• Support the Nurse Manager with supervising RNs and nursing support caregivers.
• Supervise admissions and conduct assessments of patients' needs.
• Evaluate and document patient progress.
• Facilitate planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing programs.
• Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures.
• Serve as a liaison between the manager, caregivers, and other areas.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting patient care services.
• Prepare schedules of work assignments for adequate coverage.
• Participate in quality improvement projects and research initiatives.

Requirements

Experience

Licenses & Certifications
