Cleveland Clinic Martin Health in Stuart is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for the Pre-op and PACU Ambulatory Surgery Center. You will supervise the Pre-Op and PACU units, provide hands-on patient care, and lead staff coaching and development.

The role emphasizes administrative coordination, staffing, and quality improvement, with day-shift hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure top-quality perioperative care.

Formación

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• BSN degree required.
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS certification per AHA or Red Cross.
• Two years of recent clinical nursing experience.
• Strong clinical knowledge and organizational skills.
• Good oral and written communication.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and coordinate unit clinical operations.
• Provide patient care.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among caregivers and other departments.
• Ensure continuity of patient care information between shifts.
• Coordinate patient admitting, discharges, transfers and other operational issues.
• Review major operational patient care issues with Nurse Managers.
• Provide ongoing clinical evaluations of caregivers and administer corrective actions.
• Interview, select and orient new caregivers.
• Prepare work schedules to ensure adequate coverage on all shifts.
• Participate in quality improvement projects and research initiatives.
• Assume Nurse Manager responsibilities in their absence.
