Job summary

PDS Health in Franklin, TN seeks a Dental Assistant to support clinicians in delivering the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE) and building a Patient for Life (PFL). You will perform patient care, office and lab duties, prepare patients for exams, assist dentists, and maintain infection control standards across a busy practice.

Travel to multiple offices may be required. Strong organizational and communication skills, a professional appearance, and the ability to work well with team members are

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED with state-mandated certification requirements.
• Licensure or registration as mandated by the state.
• Specialty dental assistants must have a valid driver's license and insurance; travel to multiple offices may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and assist the dentist to provide efficient care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and prepare operatory per infection control guidelines.
• Take radiographs and intra-oral pictures as directed.
• Prepare tray setups and maintain supplies in each operatory.
• Escort patients and coordinate with front desk and clinicians.
• Maintain a clean, cheerful environment and ensure equipment is maintained.
