Job summary

UChicago Medicine is looking for a Registry Perinatal Sonographer II at the Hyde Park location, responsible for performing advanced ultrasound imaging on high-risk and routine pregnancies and gynecological conditions. Candidates must have a graduate background in sonography, relevant OB/GYN experience, and active certification from the ARDMS.

This role includes detailed obstetric imaging and training responsibilities. Shift is during the day and the position is onsite.

Qualifications

• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• 3-5 years of relevant OBGYN ultrasound experience.
• ARDMS Registry (OB/GYN) required.

Responsibilities

• Complete all OB and GYN exam types without assistance.
• Troubleshoot ultrasound machine technical problems.
• Conduct training for Sonographer I and residents.
