Job summary

EvergreenHealth in Kirkland, WA seeks an experienced Obstetric RN for the Family Maternity Center. You will provide comprehensive perinatal nursing, covering labor, antepartum, postpartum, and gynecologic care, while prioritizing keeping mothers and neonates together.

The role requires neonatal and adult patient care skills, strong collaboration with physicians, and self-scheduling. A WA RN license and BLS/NRP readiness are essential assets for this Magnet-recognized hospital.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program (Diploma or ADN) with WA RN license.
• BLS certification by hire date; NRP within 4 weeks of hire.
• 1 year RN experience in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and act as patient advocate.
• Assess nursing needs for a group of patients.
• Educate patients and families about care plans.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with the team.
• Collaborate with physicians and other staff on care plans.
• Document changes in patient condition and safety issues.
• Maintain attendance, punctuality, and dependability.
