EvergreenHealth in Kirkland, WA is seeking an experienced RN for Labor & Delivery and Postpartum to join our Family Maternity Center. This self-scheduling nurse provides direct care, administers treatments, and coordinates education and discharge planning with families and the medical team.

Required: WA RN license, Diploma or ADN, BLS, NRP within 4 weeks, and 1 year of L&D and postpartum experience. Preferred: Master’s or Bachelor’s in Nursing.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program (Diploma or ADN) is required.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Washington state.
• Current BLS certification by date of hire.
• NRP certification within 4 weeks of hire.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience with Labor & Delivery and postpartum.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct patient care and acts as patient advocate.
• Assesses nursing needs of an assigned patient group.
• Coordinates patient and family education.
• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care with the team.
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary staff on care plans.
• Communicates clinical information to supervisor and physicians.
• Documents patient condition changes promptly.
• Adheres to attendance, punctuality, and dependability guidelines.
• Fulfills assigned responsibilities within agreed timeframes.
• Performs other duties as needed.
