Job Details

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Perinatal Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This is a permanent, full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment where you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, providing care and support to patients during the prenatal, labor, birth, and postpartum stages.

Responsibilities

• Providing comprehensive care to patients during the perinatal period, including prenatal, labor, birth, and postpartum stages.
• Monitoring the health of both mother and baby, including performing routine assessments and diagnostic tests.
• Assisting doctors during labor and delivery, including preparing patients, providing pain management, and assisting with cesarean sections or other surgical procedures.
• Educating patients and their families on prenatal and postnatal care, breastfeeding, newborn care, and potential complications.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
• Documenting patient history, symptoms, medications, and observations.
• Responding to emergencies and providing immediate care as necessary.
• Complying with all hospital policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid license to practice in the state of CO.
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of Perinatal nursing experience.
• Must have current Certifications: BLS, STABLE, NRP, Fetal Monitoring
