Jobot in Basalt, CO, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) / Cardiopulmonary Therapist for a full-time, perm position with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Salary ranges from $36 to $57 per hour with up to a $10 shift differential.

The role includes excellent benefits and a strong focus on patient-centered care in the Roaring Fork Valley. The ideal candidate holds an active RRT license, 1–2 years of hospital/clinic experience, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations of cardiopulmonary conditions including histories, exams, and tests.

• Administer chest physiotherapy, aerosol meds, and vent support as prescribed.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans; maintain clear documentation.
• Educate patients and families on managing symptoms at home.
• Stay current with advances in cardiopulmonary therapy and participate in professional development.
• Follow safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' cardiopulmonary conditions, including conducting physical examinations, reviewing medical histories, and performing diagnostic tests.
2. Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals, considering patients' specific needs and goals.
3. Administer treatments such as chest physiotherapy, aerosol medications, and mechanical ventilation.
4. Monitor patients' progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and keeping detailed records of patients' conditions and treatments.
5. Educate patients and their families about their conditions and teach them how to manage their symptoms at home.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest advancements in cardiopulmonary therapy and participate in ongoing professional development activities.
7. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the health and safety of patients and staff.
8. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care is provided to all patients.

Qualifications

1. An active RRT License.
2. A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospital or clinic setting.
3. BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP Certifications are all required.
