Job summary

Michigan Medicine’s Department of Psychiatry seeks a Research Area Specialist Intermediate - Program Coordinator to lead operational efforts for the Incentives2Quit (I2Q) program, coordinating activities across teams, partners, and funders.

The role focuses on oversight, data reporting, and collaboration to ensure compliant execution of perinatal smoking cessation initiatives within a hybrid work model in Ann Arbor, MI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a science-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4–5 years related experience.
• Experience with REDCap, EnrollNow (Ripple), Qualtrics, MiChart, Data Direct, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience in behavioral health research with human subjects.
• Experience working with participants with tobacco use, alcohol use disorders or other substances.

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day operational leadership for the I2Q program and coordinates program activities to support organizational goals.
• Provides staff oversight, including workflow coordination, scheduling, time approval, vacation approval, and operational support.
• Leads team meetings, coordinates priorities, and supports process improvements to enhance program effectiveness.
