Job summary

Women's Care is seeking a Patient Workflow Coordinator to join our Bend, OR, on-site team. This full-time role supports perinatal care operations, aligning physician and sonographer schedules with patient referrals and provider availability.

You will be the on-site go-to for staff and providers and coordinate referrals, documentation, and insurance verification. The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail and proactive problem-solving in a fast-paced clinical environment at PACO—our Bend

Qualifications

Two years of medical office experience are required.
High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

Templating for physician and sonographer schedules and ensuring correct patient, appointment, insurance field, and referring doctor.
Act as the on-site go-to person for Bend clinic staff and providers.
Receive, review, and process patient referrals from external providers or patients.
Verify and confirm referral completeness, including required documents and medical records.
Contact referred patients to schedule initial appointments aligning with provider availability.
Coordinate appointment times with clinical teams and ensure pre-visit preparations are completed.
Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility.
Track referrals to understand source and routing.
