Westchester Medical Center Health Network is seeking a Perinatal Surgical Technologist to support the OB surgical care team. You will scrub, prepare patients, set up rooms, pass instruments, perform counts, and assist with obstetric deliveries while maintaining strict aseptic technique.

The role involves preparing the sterile field, assisting with patient preparation and consent, and coordinating with nurses and physicians to ensure patient safety and smooth case flow.

Qualifications

• Experience as a surgical technologist in an operating room setting.
• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Certification as a surgical technologist or equivalent credential required or military credential recognized by a credentialing body.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients and rooms for OB surgical and delivery procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique throughout the procedure.
• Assist with instrument and supply setup, counts, and passing to the surgical team.
• Transport patients to and from the operating/delivery room.
• Support obstetrical and newborn care and safety procedures.
