Job summary

Abrazo Community Health Network Hospital is seeking a Nursing Educator to partner with nursing leadership to design, implement, and evaluate education programs for all levels of nursing staff.

The role focuses on orientation, continuing education, and staff development across units, with responsibilities including mentorship, evaluation, and policy guidance to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, nursing education background preferred.
• Active state nursing license and BLS/ACLS/NRP certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Supports educational needs for assigned units/clinics including classroom and clinical experiences.
• Implements comprehensive education programs to meet orientation and competency needs.
• Provides mentorship and guidance for preceptors and nursing staff.
• Develops and revises nursing education policies and procedures as requested.
• Partners with nursing leadership to promote continuing education and professional growth.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Education or related specialty

Current State Licenses & Certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP)
