Job summary

AtlantiCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its interdisciplinary team. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care across inpatient, outpatient and community settings, coordinating with physicians and other care providers. Strong assessment, planning and documentation skills are essential.

Candidates should hold NJ RN licensure (or multi-state), with BLS and relevant certifications. BSN preferred and trauma/ER experience are advantageous in this role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey or current multi-state license.
• American Heart Association BLS required upon hire or transfer.
• 2 years medical/surgical and/or emergency room experience preferred.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• ATCN or TNCC required within 24 months of hire or transfer.
• PALS or ENPC attained within 12 months of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse collaborates with the Physician and interdisciplinary team.
• Performs nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Oversees coordination of the plan of care to align with the medical treatment plan.
• Documents required actions and supports performance improvement initiatives.
