Job summary

The Registered Nurse Womens Float Pool role at Overland Park Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, delivers high-quality care across maternity, neonatal, pediatric, and related services under the Nurse Manager. The team is collaborative, fast-paced, and focused on patient-centered outcomes.

Ideal candidates are licensed RNs with BLS on hire, NRP within 1 month, and ACLS/AWHONN fetal monitoring for relevant units, plus 2 years of acute care experience in Mother Baby, L&D/Antepartum,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or holds an active compact license.
• BLS required upon hire; NRP certification required within 1 month of hire; ACLS and AWHONN fetal monitoring required for LD/AP; PALs required for Pediatrics.
• 2 years acute care experience in Mother Baby, Labor & Delivery / Antepartum, and Women’s Surgery.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager.
• Provide therapeutic and administrative services for patient care in support of the hospital mission.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment to sharpen critical thinking, time management, and decision-making skills.
