Qualifications

• Must hold active Texas unarmed security/Level II license.
• Minimum of one year security experience.
• Proof of citizenship or US work authorization.
• DD214 if active-duty military.
• Must consent to fingerprinting.
• Must read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clean criminal record and ability to pass background check and security screening.
• Ability to pass preemployment medical assessment and drug screening.
• Excellent communication, observation, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Patrol exterior perimeters of the processing center and monitor access points.
• Control access to the processing center, allowing only authorized individuals.
• Operate surveillance cameras, access control systems, and communication devices; report anomalies.
• Respond to emergencies or disturbances and assist processing staff as needed.
• Perform searches of vehicles, packages, and individuals per protocol.
• Assist with secure movement of residents within the center.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents and security activities.
• Collaborate with processing staff to maintain a secure environment.
