Job summary

Qualifications

• Active Texas Armed Security/Level III license required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in private security, law enforcement, or military.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.
• Fingerprinting required.
• English proficiency (read/write/speak) required.
• 21+ years old; high school diploma or equivalent.
• Clean criminal record; pass background check and security screening.
• Must pass pre-employment medical and drug screening.
• Flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the processing center exterior perimeters.
• Monitor and control access to the processing center; ensure only authorized personnel enter.
• Operate surveillance cameras, access control systems, and communication devices; report suspicious activity.
• Respond to emergencies and assist with de-escalation as needed.
• Perform searches of vehicles, packages, and individuals per protocols.
• Assist processing staff with secure movement of residents; maintain vigilance.
• Prepare detailed incident and daily security reports.
• Maintain proficiency with firearms and security equipment; meet training requirements.
• Collaborate with processing staff to maintain a secure environment.
