Job summary

GardaWorld Federal Services LLC is seeking an Unarmed Site Security Guard to help maintain the safety and integrity of an immigration processing and custodial facility. The role focuses on securing the facility's exterior perimeter, monitoring for unauthorized access, and enforcing strict protocols.

The position requires an active Texas unarmed security/Level II license, at least 1 year of security experience, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

Active Texas unarmed security/Level II license is required.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant security experience.
Must be a citizen or have US work authorization.
DD214 showing discharge condition if prior military service.
Fingerprinting required.
Must read, write, speak, and understand English proficiently.
Must be at least 21 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must pass a comprehensive background check and security screening.
Must pass a preemployment medical assessment and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Conduct patrols of the processing center's external perimeters and access points.
Monitor and control access to ensure only authorized personnel/visitors enter.
Operate surveillance cameras, access control systems, and communications devices; report anomalies.
Respond to emergencies or incidents with processing staff to de-escalate when needed.
Perform searches of vehicles, packages, and individuals per established protocols.
Assist processing staff with secure resident movement within the center.
Prepare detailed incident and daily security activity reports.
Collaborate with processing staff to maintain a secure and orderly environment.
