GY6 Services LLC is seeking dependable Unarmed Security Guards to support commercial, residential, construction, and event sites in Austin, TX. Guards contribute to a safe environment through visibility, observation, and customer service.

Ideal candidates possess strong communication, situational awareness, and professionalism, with training available for those without prior security experience. This position covers varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Prior security experience preferred but not required (training available)

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, vandalism, trespassing, and safety hazards
• Conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols as assigned
• Control access points and verify identification when required
• Observe, document, and report suspicious activity or incidents
• Enforce site policies and post orders in a professional manner
• De-escalate conflicts and assist during emergencies
• Complete detailed daily activity and incident reports
• Provide excellent customer service to clients, employees, and visitors
