Job summary

Citi is seeking a Build Engineer Assistant Vice President Conversion in Irving, TX. The role focuses on developing and implementing perimeter security solutions at the network edge, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs, while ensuring secure integration with the broader network architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years in network security and security infrastructure development.
• 2+ years familiarity with Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco.
• Knowledge of network protocols, routing and firewall management.
• Basic scripting knowledge in Python/PowerShell/Ansible desirable.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, CCSA, PCNSA desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy perimeter security solutions (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs).
• Understand and manage network routing protocols and configurations.
• Configure security infrastructure for optimal protection and performance.
• Document build processes and ensure policy compliance.
• Collaborate with teams and vendors to enhance perimeter security.
