Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in security engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in network security and security infrastructure development.
• Experience with Check Point, Palo Alto, Cisco preferred.
• Knowledge of network protocols, routing and firewall management.
• Basic scripting with Python/PowerShell/Ansible desirable.
• Cloud security knowledge is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CCNA, CCSA, PCNSA) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy perimeter security solutions (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs).
• Manage network routing configurations and ensure secure routing strategies.
• Configure security infrastructure and collaborate with architects to align with strategy.
• Document build processes, configurations, and SOPs; ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors; communicate project status and challenges.
