Job summary

Allina Health is hiring a Registered Nurse in perianesthesia to join the Surgical Services department in Hastings, MN. This 0.8 FTE position offers an 8-hour day/evening shift with no weekend requirements, and requires RN licensure in MN or WI with ACLS/ALS/PALS certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe anesthesia-related care.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Perianesthesia experience preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications required as listed below.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive assessment of patient and family needs; establish plan of care.
• Coordinate and supervise care; delegate tasks to ensure safety and effectiveness.
• Maintain education and competencies to provide high-quality care.
• Apply evidence-based nursing practice considering current rules and regulations.
• Collaborate with family and patient to set measurable outcomes.
• Perform supplemental roles as Charge Nurse or Preceptor when applicable.
