Job summary

Allina Health's United Hospital in Saint Paul, MN seeks a part-time RN in Perianesthesia (0.8 FTE) to care for patients undergoing anesthesia. Shift is Day/Evening, 8 hours, 32 hours per week, with occasional weekend rotation.

The role requires 1 year perianesthesia or ICU/ED experience and active RN licensure in MN or WI, with ACLS/ALS or Allina ACLS certification as alternatives. Responsibility includes comprehensive assessments, planning and coordinating care, and collaboration with families

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree required.
• 0 to 2 years critical care RN experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 0 to 2 years perianesthesia experience preferred.
• Licensed Registered Nurse – MN or WI depending on state of hire.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive assessment of patient and family needs; plan of care.
• Monitor patients undergoing anesthesia for complications.
• Coordinate, delegate and ensure safe, effective care.
• Fulfill organizational requirements.
